Description
This is a very powerful driver, and lights up to 330 feet of EL wire at full brightness.
This unit is about the size and density of a brick. The Driver Max comes with red and black 12 Volt DC input wires, a 9 Volt battery cap & our standard Plug & Play connector set. It’s a rugged driver designed for heavy use.
Because it has no switches, it is excellent for dusty environments. It is recommended that you shield this driver from direct sunlight and keep it off during the day in high-heat environments.
This driver can be powered by the
8AA battery cage. We recommend a deep-cycle marine battery or car battery for installations where you want your wire to be lit all night long.
This driver requires a special
regulated power supply to connect it to wall current.
